I’ve heard of yoga as a tool for aging. But then I read this article that was written for caregivers, but which can be used by anyone to be more active and mobile. It is full of really good information so I put it on the MCVitamins page on Aging.
I have known B1 (thiamine) to be such an important vitamin. It is so involved with your health.
But then I found an educational video by Dr. Eric Berg, D.C. about what a deficiency of B1 will do. It is very informative.
I think with so many people depleting B1 by using caffeine, sugar, medical drugs, processed foods etc. etc. that this is important to know. I can affect the conditions such as lack of tears, restless leg syndrome, sleep apnea, and even memory problems. But, etc. etc. etc.

Recently, you might have noticed a lot of ads about supplementing to help become more like when a guy was 20. It seems to make some sort of sense, supplement with testosterone.

The reference by Dr. Mercola (link is below) talks about homocysteine being lowered in the body in the presence of vitamin B. I was interested in forwarding this as homecysteine has also always been associated with heart disease and more and now Alzheimers.

Homeocysteine is part of a reaction in the body and is supposed to convert to cysteine. But it needs B vitamins to convert. Thus the need for the B vitamins.

This is a great subject. When you body has to make new cells as the old ones are dying, what kind of new cell will it make? It can make a prefect replica and make a strong healthy cell, or it can make an imperfect cell. If the body had all the ingredients it needed, would it make a perfect cell?
